This element is very useful on complex catalogs with many pages, such as technical and product catalogs with data sheets and assembly instructions.
There are different formats of notches, but now we’ll look at the most well-known and the one we at Pronto Pricelist use the most, the “Classic 90°”.
With our Pronto Pricelist Pro list and catalog layout system, there are a maximum of 12 notches in the vertical version of the layout and 6 in the horizontal version.
If there are fewer notches, the system will automatically adapt the width of each notch.
In the case, however, in which there is a greater number of notches than those provided, our system will layout the next notches starting from the top.
Rubrication notches show the chapter title, which is why they recommend keeping chapter text contained.
